To The New Healthy Me!

Paleo Round Two is meant to be for my own personal development on finding the right way to feeling great and becoming the healthy person that I want to be. It is called Round Two because I have tried taking the Paleo diet route before and it didn't go as well as I had hoped....

The Paleo diet is difficult, especially if you have people around you that don't do the same! However, I would never ask anyone to keep certain foods away just because I couldn't handle the simple sight of them! That is just plain mean!! As many people know, going Paleo means you eliminate any processed grains, dairy, and legumes out of your diet and you focus on eating vegetables, fruit, nuts, and meats throughout the day. The reason that I have turned to the Paleo diet previously and now is because I have PCOS, which is pretty common for women, but an extremely annoying condition. PCOS women have been told that a diet low in carbs can help their conditions since most of the time we have an insulin resistant problem. So here we are trying the most low carb diet you can possibly due!

I have heard great benefits of taking a Paleo lifestyle and I want to see if it is the right fit for me as well. Here are some of my common ailments I would love to eliminate from my life completely:

1. Slightly overweight (Weight:136 Height: 5' 3'')
2. Some small acne pop ups
3. Tired ALL THE TIME
4. Migraines and Headaches

Along with trying to do the Paleo diet I am also starting to pull oil. Which is a weird concept for me, but I can't see any harm in not trying it! Basically the concept is you swish in your mouth coconut oil (you can use other oils, but coconut is what I am using) for about 15-20 minutes and all of the toxins in your gums and teeth get stuck in the oil and get pulled out! It is suppose to whiten your teeth and helps with migraines! There are others benefits as well, but those are the two that mostly effect me.

Along with trying to eat healthy I am also actively exercising!

Each day I am going to keep a journal of what I have eaten and done throughout the day and actively express how I am feeling for the day.
